What is BCB 106.6fm ?
BCB is Bradford`s community radio station, run by local people. We broadcast full time throughout Bradford and the Aire Valley on 106.6fm and via the internet on www.bcbradio.co.uk We are committed to providing a dedicated and accessible radio station for Bradford, broadcasting a range of distinctive and entertaining programmes that you want to hear. We were The Sony Radio Academy Awards 2003 "Nations & Regions" Gold Award Winners for Yorkshire & The North East and The Community Harmony Awards 2004 "Community Service" Winners in Bradford. BCB is a membership organisation and we encourage local people to be involved in the life of the station. We run radio training courses & workshops throughout the year and work with community groups, organisations, schools and individuals,enabling people to produce and present their own programmes and take an active part in BCB. BCB is funded by the Home Office "Connecting Communities" project, Bradford Council, Neighbourhood Renewal, Big Lottery Fund, European Regional Development Fund, European Social Fund and DEFRA.
