When Big Joan Sets Up

Assassins 88

Hello all,

When Big Joan Sets Up is BCB’s dirty little secret tucked away on Wednesday nights at midnight like a mad relative trapped in the attic in a 1970’s horror film.  If you, humble blog reader, decide to join the happy band of insomniacs, skiving security guards and burglars that comprise our listenership, you can sample delightful new music in a bewildering variety of genres and one or two old songs as well.

This week’s cavalcade of innocent  fun featured the new tunes from Asobi Seksu, Skream and Wet Hair along with four tracks from the new Topic Records box set.   Tracklist looks like this:

Paddy Ryan – “The Man who Waters the Workers’ Beer” (7CD set- “Three Score and Ten- A Voice to the People”) (Topic)
