Malcolm Currie

Malcolm is retired after 30 years at the chalk face in Buckinghamshire, Bradford and Leeds. His father arrived from Glasgow in 1956, to save Bradford City FC by way of 136 league appearances!

Born in Micklethwaite in 1961, Malcolm is moving back to within yards of his birthplace place soon, after 32 years in Clayton. He loves the whole multi-everything Bradford thing, whether it’s people or landscape and is probably the second-best Irish bouzouki player in the city – out of the two of them!

He co-presents In Your Backyard with Ian Forward.
