10 Today (Exercise on the Radio) was launched on the 9th of May with a live broadcast from the centre of Bradford.

As part of Sport England’s pilot project, the Active Ageing project aims to encourage the over 55s to engage in physical activity by coming together to do 10 mins exercise three times a week, on the radio – anything from lunch clubs, community centres, knitting groups, book groups and also good for people at home.

Exercises will be broadcast at 2pm every day.

We are actively recruiting more Community Champions to promote the project and encourage groups in the community to take part.

Previous short training sessions:
Wednesday 10 April
Thursday 25 April

Please contact mary.dowson@bcbradio.co.uk to attend a session.
(NB the training is being held at Anchor Housing not BCB.)

If you’ve been joining us, let us know what you think! We’d love to hear your comments on how to make these sessions better.

Please do spread the word and encourage people in their networks and communities to join in. More information, as well as video and audio can be found on the 10 Today website.
