South Asian Heritage month, which runs from 18th July and now extended to 21st August 2020, is a month long celebration of the heritage of people with roots in South Asian countries which include Pakistan, India, Kashmir, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal.

Here in Bradford, a grassroots collective of artists, writers and community organisers have come together to create the first ever Bradford South Asian Heritage Month and BCB is proud to be a part of this.

Over the course of the next couple of weeks, we will be broadcasting a range of programmes recorded especially for this month by our South Asian volunteers who will be celebrating the wide and diverse cultures of their heritage through radio.

So join us on BCB 106.6 fm and celebrate with us.
