For Bradford-based dad of two Neil Grist and his family, being diagnosed with a brain tumour in May 2017 was "the biggest shock of our lives". This autumn, on October 20th, Neil will take part in a Twilight Walk through his home town, alongside his wife Andrea, twin daughters Isobel and Rebecca, and many members of his friends and family, to raise funds for The Brain Tumour Charity.
Kinky Boots, the musical is coming to the Alhambra, and Kayi Ushe, who plays the role of Lola, spoke to BCB'S Ann Morgan about the show.

Bradford Stories Festival Launch
Yesterday saw the launch of the Bradford Stories Festival, a festival celebrating the people, places and stories at the heart of Bradford communities at Kala Sangam. About the BCB Schedule
BCB broadcasts a wide range of speech based and specialist music programmes, as well as local sports and live events. Our weekday daytime programming is speech led, moving into community programming at 6pm, the BCB Extra Youth strand at 6.30, Asian language programming at 7pm and finishing with an eclectic range of specialist music from 8pm onwards.
The weekend schedule reflects the local sports scene, community language programmes as well as outside broadcasts and the chance to catch up with the programmes you’ve missed during the week.
The programme schedule changes daily with over 80 new programmes broadcast throughout the week.
