Volunteer Information Days

We run information days for anyone interested in getting involved in BCB. These are generally on the first Tuesday of the month. Contact us for more information or to book a place.

We have the following volunteering opportunities available.

All of our presenters that broadcast are volunteers. Volunteers are also members, which means they have a say in the running of BCB.

Presenters might make pre-recorded shows or broadcast live.

Currently we are particularly interested in recruiting people to anchor our live daytime programmes such as About Bradford (11am), Drive (4pm-6pm).

We are keen to reflect the diversity of the district in our broadcasting so welcome volunteers from all parts of the community. If you have an issue or group that is not represented, we’d like to hear about it.

Studio Managers
All of our studio managers are volunteers. Volunteers are also members, which means they have a say in the running of BCB.
Studio managers look after the building and volunteers. They make sure people can access the studios, the computers and generally make sure people can do their work.
