Simon Ashberry

Simon Ashberry has been playing the best of local music on his show Bradford Beat for more than a decade. For several years he was music columnist for the Telegraph & Argus, covering the rise to fame of acts such as Embrace, Terrorvision, Tasmin Archer and Ooberman.

Simon has been bassist in many bands himself including Bradford-based Loom, and currently the Stromatolites. He has also had two football books published, and is on the board of Ilkley Literature Festival.
