Marcus presents Research Matters, every four weeks on Sundays at 1pm.
Research Bradford has a great research community and they explain their ideas and what they do. And there’s always some music, reflecting an eclectic taste

As an incomer to the area Marcus is passionate about all things Bradford and proud to be supporting the Bradford 2025 City of Culture bid as Research Convenor. In his spare time he’s a keen photographer  with Bingley Camera Club and enjoys running, walking and chutney making.

His day job is Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Bradford and University of Bradford Academic Lead for the Wolfson Centre for Applied Health Research, a partnership between the Bradford NHS Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust and the Universities of Bradford and Leeds.

His research aims to reduce health inequalities and to develop tools to improve the safer use of medicines.
