Back to Presenters

Maureen Grant

Maureen is recently retired and enjoys volunteering at BCB as a presenter. She aims to build on this by mastering her newly-acquired editing skills and other roles at BCB.
Maureen’s passion is social justice, with an emphasis on promoting race equality and strengthening communities which she hopes is reflected in her role on the radio and community activism.
Maureen was born in Guyana but feels a fully fledged Bradfordian, having lived in the city since 1982. She enjoys reading, socialising, listening to music, finding new challenges and of course volunteering at BCB and contributing towards giving voice to the needs of marginalised communities.
