Tina Watkin

Curiosity brought Tina to the welcome arms of BCB in 1999. From being the first voice on Shipley Corner, she now covers the airwaves six times monthly.

“It’s an honour to work for such a caring, understanding, supportive organisation,” she says. “Volunteering is a vocation.” Tina leads Bradford Writers’ Circle, is a Trustee for BDSP and the Mpika Relief Fund, and membership secretary for the Bradford University of the Third Age.

Writing is a passion as well as gardening, although she eradicates slugs and weeds yet is kind to the world.
