Back to Presenters

Tina Watkin

Tina started with BCB in 1999, on the same training course as Alan Keeling. Together they’ve presented The Afternoon Stretch ever since.

Being Leader of the Bradford Writers’ Circle, Tina also started The Scribe Show, interviewing writers of all abilities and genres in Bradford and further afield.

The Senior Moments show was instigated to promote Bradford and District Senior Power (BDSP). This is where Tina, Valerie Cosgrave, Myra Farnell chat about things relevant to the older listener and invite guests to talk about themselves and how they fill their days.

They ask people to contact them by email if they’d like to be on their monthly show. Tell the audience about your hobbies, achievements, passions, lifestyle or just ramble along with the presenters. They choose music to suit the programme subjects that day. Listeners might even want to bring in their own fiddle or flute.

There are some very interesting people out there and they want you to add spice to the programme content.

Who said volunteer? Best thing I ever did! I love my BCB extended family.
