Tony Painter

Despite his East London origin, Tony has actually lived most of his life up north and has been firmly resident in Shipley for some years.

After supporting a number of The Record Club radio shows, they told him to go away and start his own show. Hence we have The Tipping Point, playing an eclectic range of music that goes close to the edge but tries not to fall over. Expect jazz, folk, blues, electronica, exotica and occasional weirdness, often woven together into some sort of obscure theme, punctuated by Tony’s gravelly and informative links.
