Where it all Leeds…

This week’s show saw us bemoaning the lack of women performing on the main stages at this year’s Leeds Festival – despite the launch of a new initiative to promote female talent!

Here’s what we played:

Alt-J – Deadcrush
Superfood – Unstoppable
Oumou Sangare – Mogoya
Stand Alone – Save You (BCB session)
Smoking Popes – I Need You Around
The Seagulls – Silver or Lead
The XX – I Dare You
This Is The Kit – Moonshine Freeze
Chastity Belt – Caught In A Lie
Kwai Change Caine – Kwai Change Caine
Honeyblood – Love Is A Diseas
Haim – If I Could Change Your Mind
Methera – Ramsegrubben

Awesome track list! It is such a shame there weren’t more women artists at Leeds, but sadly, too many festivals suffer from the same lack of diversity. Hopefully more initiatives to incorporate female talent start to sink in to the point where we don’t need them anymore. Thanks for sharing this!!
