Great footage of a Touareg band playing.
“Tuareg musician Bambino from Agadez, Niger, performs with his band at the foot of the ancient Grande Mosque attended by close to a thousand people. At the edge of the Sahara Desert, Agadez has been cut off from the rest of the world due rebellions and floods for three years.”

About Rob

Rob co-founded BCB with Mary Dowson, back when the hills were young and it were all flat caps an chappatis round 'ere. It was known as Bradford Festival Radio then, and thanks to the generosity of Dusty Rhodes we got started. Now he takes photos, puts little silver discs in drawers, mumbles into microphones, and walks on the hills. Keep On Blowin..

    Thanks for the mention, Rob.

Also of note this week is that on Wednesday we are interviewing Jumbo Records in the Drive show at 5:30pm. Then at 8pm I’m devoting the whole hour of my show to tunes that are being released on Record Store Day. I wasn’t sure if I’d have enough to fill an hour, but having looked through the list of releases I’ve actually got 22 tunes I can play, so I shall have no problem filling my show..! 🙂
