what an eclectic selection! You beat me too it with First Aid Kit, I was going to play them this coming Wednesday. I’ll play them, but will play a different tune. And you played The Whispertown 2000. They were the first band I saw at the ATP Festival last May, and I bought their album. The Graham Parsnip Liquidiser Torture Think Tank must be the best band name I’ve seen this week; and that accolade usually goes to something in Phil Cope‘s show!
I went to that ATP, thoroughly enjoyed it. Also bought TW2000 album after that gig!
I’d happily surrender my weird band name crown to anyone who would play Mcfly next to Nissenmondai. When is this programme on ? It looks ace!
Ha, so all three of us were at the same ATP Festival! Phil and I are off to the Matt Groening one in a couple of weeks.
Phil – Buffet is on every fourth Saturday at 5pm and according to the BCB website it is repated (sic) on Monday @ 10am so you could have tuned in today and heard it. I’m reckoning the next one is on 22nd May.
Ooh, I’m jealous you lot are off to ATP. Albert, you are spot on – we’re next on Sat 22nd May 5pm (and also at Bradford Pride that day in real life). Apparently we weren’t repeated on the Monday last month so may have been a one off. Incidentally, I forgot to include Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Zero in the tracklisting.
22nd May should be a good day then, if you’ve a daytime appearance too!
